This heat shrink is a shrinkable plastic tube used to insulate wires, providing abrasion resistance and environmental protection for stranded and solid wire conductors, connections, joints and terminals in electrical work. Our military grade flexible tubing is suitable for insulation, colour coding, strain relief and protection in electrical and electronic applications. Continuous temperature rating is -55C to 135C and up to 300C for short durations. The shrink ratio is 2:1 and the tubing meets stringent requirements of MIL-I-23053/5 class one.
