Embed external audio into your HDMI or DVI output signal using this white 1080p HDMI Audio Inserter from A-Neuvideo. The compact, lightweight unit features an HDMI input for your video signal and allows you to input optical SPDIF or 2RCA left/right analog audio into your HDMI signal, and then send the output to your destination such as a display, a recorder, or broadcasting gear.
The unit supports up to 1080p HDMI video, 3D video signals, and HDCP 1.2, and it is DVI 1.0 compliant. Supported embedded HDMI audio formats include LPCM 2/5.1/7.1, Dolby 5.1, DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital+, Dolby TrueHD, and DTSHD Master Audio, and supported optical audio input formats include LPCM 2, Dolby Digital, and DTS Digital Audio 5.1. The maximum cable distance for optimal HDMI input and output signals is up to 49′ for 8-bit resolution video, and up to 32′ for 12-bit resolution video. The inserter has low power consumption, and a 5V power adapter is included.
