Equipped with the 6nm RDNA 2 architecture, the AMD Radeon PRO W6400 Graphics Card is designed to deliver ultra-high viewport frame rates, dependability, and the performance needed for popular professional applications. The Radeon PRO W6400 also introduces real-time raytracing and the AMD Infinity Cache. Packing 768 stream processors linked to 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM with 128 GB/s memory bandwidth and 3.54 TFLOPS of peak single-precision computation performance, the Radeon Pro W6400 can fully leverage APIs such as OpenCL, OpenGL, and Vulkan to accelerate graphics rendering and computationally intensive video effects.

The front panel of the card features two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs. This graphics card is optimized for dual 4K displays, dual 5K displays, or a single 8K HDR display. To keep this card cool, AMD implemented a blower-style cooler. By using a radial fan, this system forces air over the components and exhausts it out through the front of the card. This half-height, single-slot compact design is ideal for configurations involving tight spacing between components, crucial in smaller enclosures.

RDNA 2 Architecture The AMD RDNA 2 architecture introduces significant GPU advancements in the form of an enhanced Compute Unit, visual pipeline, and an AMD Infinity Cache. In select professional applications, the AMD RDNA 2 architecture can deliver up to 94% faster performance over previous gen GCN architecture. This helps enable higher resolution performance together with vivid visuals, incorporating exceptional performance and power efficiency. Real-Time Hardware Raytracing The AMD RDNA 2 Compute Unit implements a high-performance raytracing acceleration architecture known as the Ray Accelerator. This specialized hardware handles the intersection of rays directly on the AMD Radeon PRO W6400 for accelerated hardware raytracing. Replaced a GTX 1650 low profile, the W6400 perfroms noticebly better and is silent when idle and makes less noise when pushed then the 1650 did at idle.
