The THUNDER TCA-2157 car amplifier is a two-channel model with a power rating of 2 x 150 W RMS at 4 Ohms and operates with a load from 2 to 4 Ohms. The frequency response of 10 Hz – 30 kHz covers both the bass range and high frequencies. In bridge mode, the two channels are combined to power a subwoofer.

Bridge mode for subwoofer

The two channels are combined into a single output of 1 x 480 W RMS at 4 Ohms. In stereo mode with a 2-Ohm load, the amplifier delivers 2 x 240 W RMS, providing headroom for more demanding speakers.

Bass boost up to 12 dB

The control adds a level in the 0 ~ 12 dB range when the recording or the car interior needs more low end. The signal-to-noise ratio above 90 dB and distortion below 0.15% keep the sound clean even at higher volumes.

Built-in protection with two 30 A fuses

The power supply section is secured with 2 x 30 A. The input sensitivity of 0.2 ~ 8.0 V allows connection to both factory and aftermarket head units.
