JVC KW-M180BT car receiver with 6.8″ touchscreen, Bluetooth and USB

Capacitive display and hands-free calls with two phones connected simultaneously

The JVC KW-M180BT is a double-DIN car receiver with a 6.8″ capacitive touchscreen, Bluetooth and USB input. It plays MP3, WMA, FLAC and MKV from USB media, receives FM with RDS, and has a preamp output for connecting an external amplifier.

6.8″ capacitive screen with fast start

The panel responds to light touch and finger swipes, as on a smartphone, and the image remains readable at an angle from the passenger seat. The system is ready to use shortly after turning the key.

Android mirroring via USB with control from the screen

Compatible Android phones are shown on the display via a USB cable and Bluetooth after installing the free Mirroring OB for JVC app. Navigation and music apps are controlled directly from the touch panel.

Two phones connected simultaneously via Bluetooth

The work and personal phones remain paired permanently, and a call to either one is answered with a single button. The hands-free profile supports wideband speech with noise suppression, and automatic pairing starts after the first connection via USB.

13-band equaliser and Time Alignment

The sound can be adjusted to taste across thirteen frequency bands, and the Time Alignment function syncs the moment the signal from each speaker reaches the driver’s position. The preamp output allows adding an external amplifier and subwoofer.

Reversing camera input with guide lines

A reversing camera (not included) connects to the receiver, and the screen displays adjustable parking guide lines. The shortened chassis reduces the depth required behind the dashboard and makes installation in tight niches easier.
