Car receiver JVC KW-M27DBT, 6.8″ touch display, DAB+, Bluetooth, USB, 4 x 45 W

Short chassis with a depth of 75 mm: fits even in a dashboard with limited space behind the opening.

The JVC KW-M27DBT is a 2-DIN car receiver with a capacitive touch screen 6.8″, a DAB+ tuner and Bluetooth for hands-free calls. It plays MP3, WMA, FLAC and MKV from USB, and an Android phone is shown on the screen via USB mirroring mode. It has a rear-view camera input and outputs for an external amplifier.

Capacitive 6.8″ display with 800 x 480 resolution

The panel responds to light touch and swiping, like a smartphone, and wide viewing angles keep the image readable even from the driver’s seat. The backlit buttons around the display can be found without searching in the dark.

DAB+ radio with clear digital sound

Besides classic FM stations with RDS, the receiver also receives digital programmes that do not exist on analogue broadcast. The memory stores 30 stations, so your favourites are one button away.

USB mirroring mode for Android phone

The phone’s screen is shown on the display via a USB cable and can be controlled both from the display and from the phone itself. Navigation apps such as Google Maps and Waze stay in the driver’s view.

Bluetooth with two phones connected simultaneously

The work and personal phones stay paired permanently, and a call to either one is answered with one button. The hands-free profile supports wideband speech for clearer voice and better noise suppression, and music is streamed wirelessly.

Sound adjustment with 13-band equaliser

Time alignment compensates for the different distance to each speaker and centres the soundstage in front of the driver. Pre-amp outputs allow adding an external amplifier or active subwoofer.

Rear-view camera input

When reverse gear is engaged, the image from an additional camera automatically appears on the display. Control from the steering wheel buttons via the corresponding interface is also supported.
