Basil (Ocinum basilicum green) is an annual plant with a characteristic odor, which is used as a spice in cooking. In addition, basil has antiseptic and analgesic effects. The sun-loving basil can be grown both in the yard and at home in pots or boxes. For seedlings, it is sown from February to September, and outdoors from March to August. It is harvested from April to December.
