The reliable starter battery with Bosch SLI technology guarantees safe starting for a wide range of vehicles without start/stop systems, as well as for older vehicles and small cars.

Very good starting power and long service life: thanks to the special design and modern grid alloy for reduced corrosion
Absolutely maintenance-free: thanks to very low water consumption as a result of the modern grid alloy, as well as the double lid with labyrinth construction, which returns condensed vapors to the battery
High level of safety: through double backfire protection and integrated central degassing (depending on the type)

Good charging even on short distances

The Power series batteries from Bosch are very suitable for the requirements of changing mobility trends. Thanks to good charging and increased capacity, they ensure reliable engine starting even after longer periods of inactivity or if the vehicle is used primarily for short trips.

Requirements for Bosch batteries

As an expert in batteries, Bosch conducts rigorous quality and performance tests on all batteries in its program to ensure consistently high quality. After all, there can be no compromises when it comes to the safety and reliability of Bosch batteries.

Safety tests

Electrolyte retention test. In conventional batteries, the liquid in the battery moves while the vehicle is on the road for example, during braking or acceleration. For safety reasons, the battery must be sealed so that acid cannot leak. The electrolyte retention test checks the airtightness of the batteries.

Service life tests

Deep cycle resistance test. A battery resistant to deep discharge cycles is of huge importance for city traffic with numerous starts and stops, as well as for cars with numerous electrical consumers and those used mostly for short trips. High resistance to deep cycles is a prerequisite for a long battery life.
